About
You'd like to know more about me? Sure! My name is Alexander Dawson (but feel free to call me Alex) and I come from Brighton, in the United Kingdom.
Having invisible disabilities, training, and some experience of working in healthcare, I'm a huge advocate for Web accessibility and will always try to prioritize Inclusive design within anything (app or website) I produce.
Because I've been working on the Web since 1998, I've gained a huge passion for Web standards and semantic code. My working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and the syntax which relate to them (Web Assets and Microdata) is especially solid.
I don't just create, I contribute. The Web community is vast, however one of my founding principles is to give back as often as I can. Through side-projects, writing, mentorship, or community action, I'm often working on something interesting.
During my downtime I enjoy Tennis, playing chess, and watching fantasy films / TV.
